Craftventuring, Episode 2 (Part 2)

Welcome back to Craftventuring! Today we have miniatures charms (i.e., those intended for charm bracelets or similar jewelry) and all the crafting possibilities that entail. (I’m beginning to like writing in this newscaster persona… hehe.)

On Monday I talked about the inspiration one gets while looking at — or even being around — a whole bunch of craft supplies. This isn’t limited to crochet; there are lots of different craft mediums to use, such as beads, buttons, “trinkets” and other kinds of art to add to your projects. The cool thing about crochet and yarn-related crafts is how easy it is to attach these mediums onto different projects, and create your own style.

Take, for instance, these “steampunk” charms:

Or these tiny “elegant” charms that can either be included in the project itself, or used separately as props:

(Here the word “Pemberley” caught my attention… hehehe…)

There were artistically expressive charms and zodiac charms:

And charms that had their own unique message:

Back to the steampunk charms. These have real “prop potential,” if you’re looking for something expressive to add to your collection that can be put in a particular scene (especially if you like creating photo stories or moments with particular “themes”).

What do you think of these craft finds? Do you see yourself going on a Craftventure soon? 🙂

Stay tuned for Part 3!
