The Aquatic Crafts Season Of Creativity Is Back!
This week, I’d like to share one of my latest crochet creations, inspired by the Crochet Coral Reef Project (which you can read about HERE), and a request by Ruby for some “elegant and fancy” additions to her wardrobe. One request turned into a huge project, which you will see more of in the next Aquatic Crafts post.
For a start, Ruby wanted some new shoes that were “spectacular but comfy.” I thought about the ongoing series on this blog, and wondered if there was a way to bring the two projects together. Here’s what came out of it…
These shoes were such a delight to create. Thanks to Ruby, I can see so many ways to incorporate aquatic art into fun, creative projects. Needless to say, Ruby has requested several more pairs; including some pink “coral bunny slippers.”
