Hello everyone!! Yes, I’ve been absent for two days. Yes, projects are still happening. No, I have not forgotten about this Blog. In fact, I’m now finding myself conflicted between posting so often and living even more often. (Maybe that will be under a future T&A post for those who are facing a similar dilemma… we’ll see!)
There are a couple of things that need to be mentioned, especially as updates for recent goings-on. First, Mom and I just noticed that the number of page views for Crochet Buddies is skyrocketing. I honestly have no idea how it happened, or what I wrote to garner so much attention. BUT it’s mega-awesome!! I highly encourage you all to come back and keep visiting the CB site! 😀
To those who are new to the CB community, we have introductions here, here, here and all over the place! And we have crochet lessons, here! And, and… okay, I’ll stop. You can see all that for yourself if you explore the site. 😉
Also, it’d be lovely to hear how you, Dear Reader, found this site (or Blog, or store). Or just, well, anything in general, really! So if you like, please leave a comment below, or send a message through the Contact Form! As always, it’d be awesome to hear from you!
Alright! Now onto some other updates. (At this rate I think I’ll be doing these kind of update posts more than once a month… you get the same feeling? Yeah…)
Weather has returned to being dreary… probably no surprise, but I think it’s still worth mentioning. shrug
I’ve been working on some pieces to go in the Poetry (and Prose) page of the Blog. Nothing super fancy… just some writing to see what you guys think! Those will be up by the weekend. (Which I realize is tomorrow… why…)
My best friend wrote an absolutely heartwarming letter yesterday about this site and The Buddies. It’s so uplifting, so important, that I’m going to ask her for permission to share what she wrote on this Blog. If she says yes, that post will also be coming. :’)
Starting next week, I’ll be showing a recent outing to a yarn shop. That will cover at least two posts. I had hoped to do an interview with the shop owner via email and have it up by this week, which is why the last two days that were blocked for said posts didn’t work out, but maybe that will still come through by next week. If not, there will be posts about it anyway!
